This program should be occasionally run by everyone who owns a personal computer and installs programs, most especially those which are given away in exchange for the display of banner ads. Ad-Aware compares the programs which are installed on your system against a database of known spyware. Any spyware programs which are found are listed. You are given the option of safely removing these programs from your system if you wish.
